90-Year-Old Cancer Patient Turns Down Chemo In Favor Of Epic Road Trip
Proving old ladies are the most underestimated demographic on this planet, a 90-year-old woman with a cancer diagnosis is on an epic road trip right now.
Norma from Michigan was told she had uterine cancer just days after her husband of 67 years, Leo, died. Soon after, her doctors wanted to discuss treatment options with her, but Norma had other plans. According to her Facebook page, she looked one doctor in the eye and said,
I'm 90 years old. I'm hitting the road.
Yaaaaaaas Queen Norma!
Norma's son, Tim, and his wife, Ramie, live full time in an RV, and they invited Norma to join them as they travel the country. They left in August of 2015 and are still going today, currently exploring Florida. They've been documenting the whole trip online, and the pictures from the journey are truly incredible.
Look at this awesome picture of Norma from Yellowstone National Park. She is having the time of her life.
