No One Showed Up To This 5-Year-Old's B-Day Until Her BFF Saved The Day

When you're a child, you are allowed one special day where everything is about you and not your naturally adored, cute, younger sibling.

(I am that younger sibling -- every day was my day.)

On your birthday, you got to pick what flavor cake to have, you got to choose your streamer colors, and those presents? All yours, baby.

But no matter what age you're turning, there is one fear when you have a birthday party: No one will show up.

Brooke turned 5 years old on December 1 so she invited her whole class to help celebrate with her. However, no one showed up.

No one in the whole class showed up?! Get these parents on the phone -- I need to speak with them.

Her older sister Brianna tweeted that she was sad that no one came to her party...

EXCEPT THAT'S WHEN HER BEST FRIEND FOREVER, BRYCE, SHOWED UP!

I've always had the mindset that I would rather have one great friend over a number of casual acquaintances anyway.

This also explains why I only have three friends, and they tire of me constantly texting them about my mundane life.

You don't just pose as the brunette mermaid for nothing. You give your best friend the ideal mermaid hair -- the one who looks like the Disney princess.

Bryce is over here willing to stand closer to a shark for his friend. I would only stand this close to a shark only for my dog. (Sorry to my three friends.)

BRYCE FOR PRESIDENT.

Hopefully, you have a person like Bryce in your life as well. Your true ride-or-die will never let you ring in your birthday alone.

And if you don't have a Bryce, I will be your Bryce. Invite me to your b-day. I am a lot of fun and very lonely.
