Breaking news: The richest man in the world is pretty humble.

In an interview with Wired, Bill Gates (who's worth nearly $90 effing billion) said he was surprised Beyoncé mentioned him in her new hit, "Formation." In case the baller line he's talking about hasn't been ingrained into your psyche already, here's a quick refresher:

I just might be a black Bill Gates in the making.

Look out, Bill, Queen Bey is gunning for your position as most powerful diva in the world.

Apparently, Gates had no idea about the mention until an employee brought it to his attention, saying in the interview,

I hadn't realized that she did that until somebody in the office actually sent me a copy of the lyrics and I said, 'Are you serious? This is kind of a strange set of words here. I'm surprised.'

His real feelings came out as he went on to say,

I guess it's nice that people consider me successful... I guess I should do a Bing search and see if there are more uses of my name that I don't know about.

Um, excuse me, Bill Gates, but duh people think you're successful. The entity that should be really surprised is Red Lobster. And nice try with the search engine plug, but I just had to google "Who uses Bing these days?" and came up with one lonely tech nerd in Portland.

It's cool, though. Anybody Beyoncé mentions has got to be pretty relevant.
