BFF Of The Year Traveled 50 Miles Just To Bring His Hungry Friend A Banana

Martin Peredo, 21, and Justin Mendoza, 20, have been best friends for years.

In fact, they've been BFFs for 13 years, if this Snapchat is to be believed.

However, since they both go to school, the besties are separated by a 50-mile distance. Peredo lives in Ventura, California, while Mendoza lives in Northridge, San Fernando.

But true bros never let distance get between their bromance.

According to BuzzFeed News, Peredo was in a Starbucks studying when he started to get a bit peckish.

Normally, one would go buy an overpriced sandwich at the Starbucks, but instead he texted his best friend about the situation.

My friends have totally brought me food before!

Also, they were delivery people and I paid them... and they repeatedly said they are not my friends. But that's just like our inside joke.

And they always come over in 30 minutes or less, so they must care about me... right?

Naturally, Mendoza drove 50 miles to bring his hungry friend a banana.

Mendoza didn't mind making the trip, especially since the two friends haven't seen each other for two weeks. The two try to visit each other often, and the 50-mile drive is just something they're used to.

It only took an hour before the two shared the banana -- but half of a banana is not enough for the guys, so they did end up getting those buffalo wings.

Naturally, after Peredo tweeted out the text exchange and the banana delivery, Twitter dubbed them their official #FriendshipGoals.

Sadly, not all friendships are like the one Peredo and Mendoza share...

It really made people question who their real friends truly are.

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Honestly, if I had the means, I would 100 percent do something like this for my friends.

But I don't have the means because I passed away 57 years ago and I am unable to leave my home. I cease to exist beyond these walls.
