A Connecticut teacher has been accused of having engaged in sexual relationships with two students, and she reportedly sent one of them a selfie in which she posed in a thong.

Mother-of-two Allison Marchese, 37, teaches English at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Daily Mail reports, along with her husband, 39-year-old Robert Marchese.

She allegedly became attracted to a 17-year-old student last year and, at one point during school, sent him an Instagram message telling him to leave class to see her.

The boy reportedly told his teacher he had to use the bathroom but instead went to Marchese's classroom.

A police affidavit reads,

Once in the room, they got into each other's personal space and started to 'hook up' which he described as kissing each other and she then started touching him 'downtown.'

Marchese then allegedly locked the door, closed the blinds and performed oral sex on him.

It isn't clear if this occurred before or after Marchese reportedly sent the boy a series of selfies showing her wearing a thong.

The student reportedly told Marchese he wanted to end their sexual relationship in September of 2014, but Marchese refused.

Police say she sent him a message on Instagram that read,

I know when to stop, I know when to move on, but I know is different from I can.

The boy then resorted to blackmail and threatened to expose Marchese unless she gave him $200.

Marchese returned with a threat of her own.

She allegedly told him that her father had "Mafia ties" and would end the student's football career if he came forward about their meetings.

This prompted the student to tell school officials about the relationship, leading to Marchese's arrest on Jan. 7.

Further investigation led to allegations that Marchese also had sexual encounters with a 15-year-old student who she met when he was 14.

He said Marchese sent "nonstop" messages the week after the school year ended in 2014 and once told him she was having trouble concentrating at work because of his good looks.

Marchese, who worked for the school district for 12 years, has since pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree sexual assault and impairing the morals of a minor.

She is currently on paid leave as the investigation continues.

Marchese claims to have intended to send the thong selfie to her husband, but the couple is now in the process of getting divorced.

Connecticut law punishes second-degree assault with up to 10 years in prison and up to 20 years if the victim is under the age of 16.
