Two Skydivers Almost Getting Sliced In Half By A Plane Is Terrifying (Video)

by Gillian Fuller

I've never really believed in miracles. Luck, sure, but miracles? The concept just seems a bit too far-fetched for me to really accept.

But after watching this video, I'm starting to change my mind.

The video, filmed by skydiver Forest Pullman during a routine jump in Thailand, shows Pullman and his tandem female passenger narrowly escaping a fatal midair collision with an airplane.

At first, the jump goes smoothly; the two laugh and yell with excitement as they begin their free fall above the clouds.

But a few seconds in, their propeller-powered aircraft comes barreling toward them. In slow motion, the video shows the plane's wing clip the top of the pair's drogue parachute, missing the divers by mere feet.

In what can only be described as a miracle, the parachute -- which by all accounts should be destroyed -- manages to sustain no damages, and the divers continue their descent, landing safely.

The near-collision is enough to make anyone -- even the most seasoned skydivers -- queasy with fear.

Check out the terrifying footage up top (and go ahead and delete skydiving from your bucket list -- we did too).
