Man Wants To Sell His Virginity As A Gift For International Women's Day

by Emily Arata

When it comes to funding his education, Romanian student Sorin Georgian Salinievici will go to any lengths.

That reportedly includes auctioning off his virginity in time to make it a "gift" for International Women's Day on March 8.

According to Express, the 24-year-old decided to try selling his virginity after seeing stories in the media about women doing the same.

He's raising money to pay for a university education; he had to leave school because he couldn't afford the expense alone and had moved away from his foster parents.

Friend Vasile Han told press Salinievici always treasured the idea of saving his virginity for the right woman, saying the public sale shows how desperate for cash the young man has become.

Salinievici's only request is the woman who responds be "a nice, honest person."

The desperate man, who currently works as a minimum wage security guard, told the press,

Regarding her appearance, the woman that buys my virginity has to look decent... But really I am doing this to sort out my financial troubles, not for fun and I want 2,000 euros. I won't give it away for less.

The former student reported posting a slew of advertisements around his hometown of Galati, advertising the sale of his virginity, a phone number and image of the young Casanova himself.

He's already turned down one offer because it fell below his requested price.

Perhaps Salinievici remains hopeful some kind-hearted woman will buy his virginity and hand over the cash for school without asking for the goods.
