Man Accused Of Raping 3-Year-Old Girl Gets Penis Chopped Off By Angry Mob In Brazil

A Brazilian mob chopped off the penis and three fingers of a man who raped a 3-year-old girl.

The New York Daily News reports that 66-year-old Francisco de Souza de Castro was rushed to a hospital in Sao Paulo last weekend, but doctors failed to reattach any of the severed body parts.

A Brazilian news agency said on Sunday that the young girl's mother noticed signs on her daughter's body that she had been sexually abused.

The girl named Castro as the attacker, saying he had raped her on the ranch where he works.

Revenge was enacted later that night by what local media suspects to be relatives of the child.

The police chief tasked with investigating the case said that Castro was entirely "conscious" when he lost his penis and fingers.

Forensic tests on the alleged sexual assault victim have yet to be confirmed, but authorities have concluded she was definitely raped.

This is the second time recently that a group of Brazilians has applied its own violent form of justice to a child rapist.

Late last month, we learned of a man convicted of raping and murdering his 3-year-old stepson who was brutally raped several times in a Brazilian prison, a brutal punishment many thought he deserved.
