Guy Rescues An Adorable Baby Bird And Returns It To Its Parents (Video)

There's nothing quite as cute as a baby animal being reunited with its family.

When Patrick Smith happened to find a baby killdeer trapped in a PVC pipe near his office in Southern California, his first priority was to send the chirping young bird back to its family.

In an adorable reunion, the baby's mother snuggles her young as if she's making sure Smith knows exactly who's boss. And when Smith returned to the parking lot half an hour later, the bird's parents were reportedly happy enough to let him hang out.

This bird family will watch its offspring more closely next time.
