Shocking Footage Shows What Really Happens To Distracted Teen Drivers

Blaring the new Drake album and texting your friends can wait, teen drivers. Nothing is worth taking your eyes off the road, even for a moment.

A new, large-scale data analysis conducted by AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety shows 60 percent of "moderate to severe" teenage car crashes result from daydreaming drivers who'd rather dish gossip with a friend than watch the road.

To prove that point, AAA compiled a series of dash cam-filmed crashes. It's tough to watch these teens put their safety on the line, but it's incredible to witness how quickly an accident can happen.
