90-Year-Old Has Been A Nurse For 70 Years And She's Still Going Strong (Video)

by Emily Arata

Florence “SeeSee” Rigney surely made the right career choice because she's worked in the nursing business -- and enjoyed it -- for nearly seven decades.

The 90-year-old is reportedly the oldest working nurse in the United States.

Rigney earned her nickname after telling a childhood teacher, "see, see," every time she knew the correct answer.

But in the years since her youth, the Tacoma, Washington woman mellowed into a gentle, calming influence.

Although she no longer treats patients directly, Rigney still sets up operating rooms two days a week.

Rigney, who turned 90 on May 8, celebrated with the staff of Tacoma General Hospital who turned out in full force to send well wishes her way.
