Putting Your Water-Damaged Phone In This One Thing Works Better Than Rice

Do you have a phone? Do you have a cat? Does your cat poop? If you answered "yes" to all these questions, I have some important news for you.

Mostly, when you drop your phone into the toilet because you were trying to continue to watch television while you were peeing, you fish it out and put it in a bowl full of rice. You don't know exactly where you learned to do that, but you know that something about rice sucks the water out of the phone (or something). This is also why there is rice in salt shakers (or something).

Well, I'm here to tell you of a better way to save your phone: cat litter.

Yeah. Apparently, cat litter is even better at pulling moisture out of things than rice is. So, the next time you drop your phone into a body of water, brush away the petrified cat dookies and shove it into the litter box.

Also, you're supposed to leave it in for as long as you can, for up to two whole days.

Now that I think of it, I guess cat litter has always been the obvious answer.

I mean, it is literally designed to absorb cat urine. After all, nobody is using rice instead of cat litter. Although, I'm absolutely trying that now as a last resort.
