Twitter Just Made It Possible To Retweet Yourself

Awesome news if you're extremely narcissistic: You can now retweet yourself on Twitter.

Yes, that's right. Now, there's even more time to bath in your own smugness.

Twitter rolled out the new feature today, announcing it by retweeting a post from 2009.

Naturally, everyone's jumping on the bandwagon to see if it actually works.

Some people are absolutely loving Twitter's new feature.

But for others, it's resurfacing nightmarish things better left in the past.

Then there are those who simply can't handle the power.

And some just purely skeptical Yeezus is behind this whole thing.

Twitter announced the update last month.

It was part of a number of changes the microblogging site planned to carry out to stay on top of the social media game.

It also removed photos and usernames from character count to give us more words to play with.

Twitter faces some big time competition from Snapchat, which recently overtook the company in user numbers. As of this month, 150 million people use Snapchat every day. This is 10 million more than Twitter.
