On Thanksgiving, we may be "Too Full To F*ck," but we sure as hell aren't too full to watch some porn.
According to Pornhub, people absolutely love to get a little "me" time in during the holidays, and they love to do so while apparently watching some Thanksgiving-themed porn.
In a statement, Pornub says,
Based on results from 2014, we found that 'Thanksgiving' tops the list of related terms, but interestingly there were many popular searches relating to the very first Thanksgiving such as 'native American', 'pilgrims and Indians', 'navajo' and 'pocahontas'. Because holiday shopping season also kicks off, we also found increased searches for 'black Friday', 'Christmas present' and even 'Walmart'.
The porn site adds, on Thanksgiving it sees a 3,985 percent increase in searches for "thanksgiving," while "black Friday" searches increase by 2,785 percent.
Seriously, what kind of porn comes up for these searches? I'd tell you, but I am pretty sure HR would not love it if I started searching porn on my work computer. Please do the research for me and let me know.
Beyond search term statistics, Pornhub has also provided some pretty revealing stats about which states watch the most, and least, porn on the days surrounding Thanksgiving, which devices users are using and hour-by-hour traffic statistics. A whole lot of data for all that porn.
