Hillary Clinton has a new book coming soon, which will be diving into the question all of her supporters were asking after election night, and we finally know what it will be called. Clinton's book will be titled What Happened and is set to be released in the fall. The book promises to explain the former secretary of state's point of view on why she lost.

Regarding the focus of the book, The Hill quoted a "longtime ally" of Clinton as saying,

She really believes that's why she lost, and she wants to explain why in no uncertain terms. She wants the whole story out there from her own perspective. I think a lot of people are going to be really surprised by how much she reveals.

The ally also said the book will contain a "bombshell," The Hill reports. Meanwhile, What Happened is also being marketed as an occasion on which Clinton opens up more, which she said she couldn't do in the past.

According to CBS News, the intro of the book reads,

In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I've often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net. Now I'm letting my guard down.

Even this summer, the subject of how Clinton lost the election despite being a clear favorite has been a topic of interest for politicians.

On Saturday, July 22, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told the Washington Post,

When you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don't blame other things — Comey, Russia — you blame yourself. So what did we do wrong? People didn't know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that.

And while Clinton conceded she made many mistakes during the election, she still has never been shy about pointing to factors beyond her control as major reasons for her defeat.

By the looks of things, her newest book will explain why. What Happened will be released on September 12.
