This is a very hairy situation.
British fashion designer Sarah Louise Bryan made a bra and skirt entirely out of pubic hair to try and outdo Lady Gaga's 2010 meat dress at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. The pubic hair she used to make the dress came from Twitter users over the course of six months. Take a look at her completed masterpiece:
Here's a close up of the bra, just in case you wanted a look at more pubic hair:
Sarah told the Huffington Post she wanted to make the world's most "disgusting" and "unique" design so when people saw the design, they would know it was her.
Still, it's impressive to see what she did with just any old pubic hair. Before it was turned into a dress, it looked like this (DISCLAIMER: this is sort of vomit-inducing, so don't say I didn't warn you):
People have been hating on her controversial creation. But no matter how gross (or not gross?) you think Bryan's dress is, she has a pretty powerful reason for why she went to such extreme lengths to make it. She told Mic,
[I want people] to realize what century we live in and why are they're happy to wear things made by children and from cow skin and bull eyeballs but this revolts them. The hate makes me determined to keep on it.
This isn't the first time Bryan pushed the style boundaries. Back in March, she posted this photo of her on her Instagram account. She's standing on the red carpet in another one of her creations, only this time, in a dress made out of 3,000 skittles (yum).
You can't deny she has talent. If you ask me, Bryan definitely succeeded in upstaging Queen Gaga with her pubic hair dress.
