Couple Faces Charges After Leaving Kids In Car At A Luke Bryan Concert

by Sean Levinson

Florida parents left their two kids in the car for nearly an hour while they attended a Luke Bryan concert.

Daily Mail reports the two kids, ages 9 and 11, were found sitting in a running car by concertgoers on their way into the West Palm Beach show over the weekend. The concerned fans called the police, who used a cellphone the children had to call the kids' father.

Keil Sheppard returned to the car with his fiancée, Courtney Blakley, and admitted he left the kids alone approximately 45 minutes before.

The couple told police they drove over 100 miles for the concert but acknowledged it wasn't exactly wise to go to the show without hiring a babysitter beforehand.

Just last month, a mom in Florida, April King, left her kids in the car to go to a bar and get wasted in the middle of the day.

The two devoted country fans will face charges related to child neglect.
