9-Year-Old Who Broke A Murder Story Has The Best Reaction To Her Haters

Listen, if Hilde Kate Lysiak was running for president this year, I would vote for her.

On Saturday, the 9-year-old journalist broke the news of a suspected murder before the local paper in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania did, which is, like, crazy impressive.

But some commenters, instead of being impressed, decided to harass Hilde for her life choices. Apparently, there are people out there who would make mean comments to 9-year-old girls. This pretty much confirms people are the worst.

Luckily, Hilde, being the best, took it all in stride. The very next day after she broke the murder story, she posted this video of herself for her publication, Orange Street News, reading some of the mean comments in the style of Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" segment.

In response to the comments, Hilde told her critics,

I know this makes some of you uncomfortable... but if you want me to stop covering news, then you get off your computer and do something about the news. There. Is that cute enough for you?

MIC. DROPPED.

Hilde is officially the coolest 9-year-old around. I hope I'm half as cool as she is when I'm 50.
