So, can we officially say selfies are dead now? We tried to make it last -- we really did. But I think this picture seals the deal. Let's find a new buzzword.
There is nothing -- and I mean NOTHING -- more crippling to a social trend than having parents become aware of it.
According to Huffington Post, the parents in the picture were inspired after they saw their 20 (?) year-old son post a picture on Facebook (even though this is clearly a MySpace pose).
They then snapped this picture, which is an absolutely low blow to the selfie movement. Here's to hoping that it never recovers.
