Amazing App Lets You Send Friends Uber Rides That Are Already Paid For

Ever wish you could send your buddy an Uber that's already paid for?

Better yet, ever wish you could send your buddy an Uber that brings him right to your current location?

There's an app for that. It's called Teleport, and if you ask me, it's pretty genius.

If you've been brainstorming ways to get your friends out of the house, this could be the key to doing so.

A recent press release regarding Teleport reads,

Teleport app allows you to bring your friends to you through Uber's API.  You can already get food, clothing, furniture, flowers, etc delivered on demand, why not your friends/family?

A spokesperson for Teleport told Elite Daily,

While Teleport only works within a 100 mile radius, we will be available to download anywhere in the world Uber operates. We are also one of the first start-ups that is building a company on top of Uber's API.

Sure, we haven't created an actual teleportation booth or cloak, but this app is the next best thing.

As of now, the Teleport app is currently available for free at the App Store. A version of the app for Android devices will be available early 2016.
