You're about to bite into a burger when suddenly the entire thing falls apart. We've all been there!

It's easy to identify the root of the problem: wetness.

There's just too much going on among the tomatoes, onions, ketchup and other condiments. So, what does one do to prevent this food tragedy from happening?

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Food Steez, a Los Angeles restaurant introduced what it calls "Ketchup Leather," an interesting, genius take on how ketchup should be applied to a burger.

Restaurant Plan Check, with the help of Chef Ernesto Uchimura, the mastermind behind Umami Burger, is responsible for the idea.

Say "bye-bye" to messy, slippery burgers!

According to Mashable, the Ketchup Leather recipe includes garlic and other ingredients.

Once the combined ingredients are dehydrated and dried out, the leathery ketchup condiment is finished and ready for use on the burger of your choice.

Check out the video above for a closer look at how the Ketchup Leather is made!
