You'll Have Rose-Tinted Wanderlust From This Pink Lagoon
Planet Earth is home to some pretty incredible places.
Remember when we showed you that epic waterslide hidden in the mountains of Hawaii?
Well, if that epic flume gave you a serious case of wanderlust, you might want to brace yourself.
We just came across another dazzling destination that will make you want to pack your bags ASAP.
There's a pink lagoon in Mexico that's simply mesmerizing, to say the least.
That right. Tucked away in the small fishing village of Las Coloradas, you'll find a white salty bank alongside pretty pastel waters that stretch as far as the eye can see.
Apparently, the lagoon gets its heavenly hue from tiny microorganisms, such as brine shrimp and algae, that turn the water pink by producing beta carotene.
Between the stunning blue skies, white salty banks and whimsical fuchsia water, this Barbie-worthy beach is guaranteed to make you see the world through rose-tinted glasses.
Take a look at the pictures below to see this dreamy destination.
