Teen Writes Huge Note In The Desert So Her Astronaut Dad Can See It From Space

by Robert Anthony

When you were little, your parents would go to work in the morning, and you'd expect them to be home in time for supper.

Some people, however, grew up in situations that prevented one or both parents from being able to spend every waking moment with them after a long, tiresome day. One of those people? A teenage girl named Stephanie from Houston.

She's the face of a new advertisement promoting the all-new Hyundai Genesis. Throughout the video, which was uploaded to YouTube by HyundaiWorldwide, Stephanie explains how much she misses her dad, who is an astronaut up in space.

That's when Hyundai took matters into its own hands and asked the simple question, "Can a car deliver a message to space?." Well, not one single car, but a group of them, yes!

Hyundai orchestrated an illustration in the desert sand using a fleet of its new Genesis models, and Stephanie's dad grabbed his camera and scoured the Earth's surface for her message. The end result? A heartwarming sensation.
