This Little Baby Possum Hugging Her Stuffed Kangaroo Will Make Your Day (Photos)

There are all sorts of delightful little creatures populating the Earth.

Remember when we showed you the Twitter #CuteOff competition that was looking for the most darling animal alive?

Well, I think I just found the winner.

The Taronga Zoo in Mosman, Australia just released a few photos of an orphaned, 4-month-old brushtail possum named Bettina, and this baby marsupial might just be the cutest creature the Internet ever laid eyes on.

If Bettina's furry little face isn't enough to melt your heart, you'll be glad to know this charming joey spends most of her time hugging an equally adorable stuffed kangaroo.

She currently receives round-the-clock care from one of the zoo's nurses, Felicity Evans, and according to a press release, Evans carries “a makeshift pouch” and even gets up “in the middle of the night to bottle feed and toilet the joey."
