'The Walking Dead' Graphic Season 7 Trailer Might Reveal Negan Kills Daryl

Every "Walking Dead" fan has just started to live their lives again, and now AMC has gone and dropped a mammoth teaser trailer for season 7.

It throws new light on who Negan killed during the cliffhanger that still has everyone guessing.

So many theories have been thrown around, but fans think they've spotted something in the new trailer for "The Walking Dead" that points to Daryl as the victim.

Basically, the clip rolls directly on from the last season finale to show Rick kneeling down after Negan battered someone to death with a bat wrapped in barbed wire, which he affectionately calls "Lucille."

Rick then vows to kill the gang leader. He says,

I'm gonna kill you. [...] Not today, not tomorrow, but I'm gonna kill you.

Negan then asks Simon, a character off camera, about Rick's hatchet and makes a comment about a right-hand man. He says,

Simon's my right-hand man. Having one of those is important. [...] Do you have one? Maybe one of these fine people still breathing? Oh, or did I...

Rick's reaction suggests Daryl is the victim, with Daryl arguably being Rick's right-hand man.

And then, as Rick is dragged off to Negan's RV, the camera pans to a blanket next to a pool of blood and chunks of brain.

Where have we seen that blanket before?

:(

Yep, I'm afraid so.

The reaction from fans on Twitter was nothing short of heartbreaking.

from the new teaser of walking dead, im 99.99999% sure daryl is dead — nadia (@nadiapangrazio) October 9, 2016

Some suggested it could have been a duo slaying.

There was pain. So much pain.

One fan pointed out that Daryl isn't even in "The Walking Dead" comic so it makes sense for him to be the victim.

But at least one Redditor thinks it could be misdirection.

The TV show story line has not always been true to the comic, so there's no need to pay your respects to Daryl (arguably the show's favorite character) just yet.
