North West And Penelope Disick Are Seriously The Cutest Mermaids Ever (Photos)

It's nice to see these kids being kids.

On a trip to St. Barts, Penelope Disick and North West — the daughters of Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West, respectively — got dolled up as mermaids to go swimming with a mermaid.

Kim shared a photo of the young girls to Instagram, and it racked up about 1.5 million likes in only 16 hours.

In the pic, North West wears a shimmery green mermaid tail while standing beside Penelope, who sports a pink tail. Between them, hanging on the edge of a pool, is a woman in an elaborate mermaid costume.

Kourtney shared a similar photo on Instagram this afternoon with the caption,

Last night we swam with a mermaid.

While watching these children grow up in the spotlight, it's hard not to worry about their sanities. Paparazzi are often overwhelming for seasoned adults; that sort of attention must be unfathomable for children.

Thankfully, it looks like the toddler twosome is doing just fine.
