According To Kim Kardashian, Nobody 'Gets' Kanye West

Over the past several years, Kanye West has successfully (if unintentionally) built a career by creating drama and controversy.

As a musical artist, West is undeniably talented. But his tendency to act out, speak before thinking and indulge in grown-up temper tantrums hasn't exactly endeared him to many people. Nowadays, his bizarre behavior often overshadows his musical ability.

Fortunately for 'Ye, none of that bothers his wife, Kim Kardashian-West, who People reports went to bat for her husband in a post published Friday on her website.

Presumably, her statement was in response to the sh*t storm that erupted over sexist lyrics about Taylor Swift from the song "Famous," a track from Kanye's recently released album, "The Life Of Pablo." (Kanye has insisted the line about T Swift is neither sexist nor rude).

In the status update, titled “Currently,” Kim wrote that she felt frustrated

that people don't get that Kanye will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art.

Later in the post, Kim said she hoped for "everyone to be as honest as Kanye." She also revealed that she was wearing "Yeezy Season 3 samples I took from the show."

While Kim's undying support for her husband is sweet — it's clear she loves him — I, for one, wonder whether it's doing him (or his inflated ego) any favors. A reality check might be just what this misunderstood artist needs.
