This Bran & Arya Moment On ‘GOT’ Means Big Things For The Starks

This post contains spoilers from Game Of Thrones Season 7, Episode 4. We're four episodes into Season 7 of Game of Thrones, and, um, wow. Anyone who's been complaining about lack of action in this season will be shut right up by Episode 4, "The Spoils of War." But among all the battling and fire-breathing dragons, fans picked up on a subtler moment: Bran gives Arya his dagger on Game of Thrones.

Not moments after Littlefinger gave Bran this dagger, Bran turned around and gave it to his older sister, Arya.  Of course, we still don't really know why Littlefinger gave Bran that dagger in the first place. It's extremely rare, made of Valyrian steel, and was once used to attempt to kill Bran himself by the catspaw assassin way back in Season 1. Littlefinger says he's giving Bran this gift because he wants to protect the Stark kids. But we all know Littlefinger's full of shiz like, 95 percent of the time.

Bran at least, seems to know something up, which he expresses in his weird, three-eyed raven way: "Chaos is a ladder."

But in the very next scene, when Arya reunites with her now-weird brother, Bran gives the dagger away — to Arya. The reasoning he gives Arya is that the weapon is "wasted on a cripple." It's an interesting statement, considering Arya was blind and a cripple herself only one season ago.

However, let's not forget that Bran can see basically everything that has happened and is going to happen in the whole world. He already knew all about Arya's list of people to kill. It seems likely he knows there's a reason his older sister is going to need that dagger, and soon. Maybe she has another assassin job coming up.  Could she be the one destined to kill Cersei and reclaim the Iron Throne?

We'll just have to wait and see.
