'Friends' Replaced With Modern Hipsters Is Not As Good As The Original

Nowadays, everything is a reboot or a recreation or a reimagining, at least when it comes to TV and film.

We might think some properties are sacred, that they could never be touched, but in time, all will be rebooted.

"Friends" is probably one of those shows that will never be touched, but the guys over at Nerdist put together this video of what it would look like if it was redone today. And let me tell you folks, it is not pretty.

In the modern version of "Friends," every character is a hipster and addicted to his or her cell phone.

There's no witty banter and the love triangles are completely gone. Only tech-addled 20-somethings being insufferable across New York remain. Check it out above.
