Dracarys! The 18 Times Daenerys Targaryen Proved She Is A Boss Ass Bitch

by Veronica Grossman

It is no surprise that Daenerys Targaryen of "Game Of Thrones," also known as Khaleesi, is a fan favorite.

She is beautiful, smart and refuses to take sh*t from anybody. Although, at times, she may not know exactly what she is doing, she is intuitive and trusts her instincts. As a natural born leader, the mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Dothraki people, she knows what she wants and she takes it.

So, with the much anticipated premiere of "GOT" rapidly approaching, we can't wait to see what other badassery is in store for our favorite white-haired Queen.

However, in order to hold us off for a few more days, we decided to take a look at all the badass sh*t that she has done thus far. So, here are the 18 times Daenerys Targaryen proved she is a boss ass bitch:

1. When she learns to speak Dothraki

Daenerys knew that she had to start learning the tongue of the Dothraki people or they would never take her seriously. In order to rule, you must first understand.

2. When she takes control in the bedroom

Khaleesi knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. She wanted Khal Drogo to treat her as an equal -- as a partner and a lover.

3. When she stands up to her brother

Daenerys' brother Viserys thinks she is gaining too much power over him now that she is a Khaleesi and tries to strike her. Having been disrespected by him all her life, Daenerys will not stand for it anymore.

4. When she eats the horse heart

Once Khaleesi is pregnant with Khal's son, she had to participate in the stallion heart ceremony and she dug into that heart like a champ.

5. When she stands up for the Dothraki prisoners

Khaleesi does not like the way the Dothraki people treat their prisoners and demands that they receive proper care. One of the Dothraki men does not agree, so Khal kills him. Boss status.

6. When she burns Mirri Maz Duur alive for putting Khal Drogo in a vegetative state

Daenerys is so devastated by the loss of her husband and child that she seeks revenge by burning the woman in a fire with Khal Drogo's body.

7. When she walks into the fire and emerges with the dragons

When Khaleesi starts to walk towards the fire, the entire world was nervous. But just as she said, "Fire cannot kill a dragon." When the smoke clears and she has three baby dragons on her soldiers, The Mother of Dragons has been born.

8. When she orders her dragons to burn the warlock Pyat Pree

After being betrayed by the city of Qarth and locked up to serve the warlock, Khaleesi orders her dragons to burn him alive and free her from the chains.

9. When she locks Xaro Xhoan Daxos and Doreah in the vault

Khaleesi knew that the powerful Qarth merchant Xaro was also responsible for the betrayal that left her army severely depleted and her dragons missing, even after he promised her marriage and gold.

When she goes to confront him, she finds him in bed with her handmaiden Doreah, so she locks them in the empty Qarth vault.

10. When she arrives at the city of Astapor in Slaver's Bay to acquire the unsullied soldiers

Khaleesi knows that she cannot show up to Westeros without an army. Therefore, she heads to Astapor to purchase soldiers.

11. When she speaks Valyrian and orders the unsullied soldiers to kill their slave masters

Once the transaction is complete, Khaleesi surprises everyone, including the Astapor slave trader, Kraznys Mo Nakloz, who insulted her repeatedly in what he thought was a foreign tongue, by speaking Valyrian and ordering the soldiers to kill their previous masters.

12. When she orders her dragon to burn Kraznys

After the soldiers kill their slave masters, Daenerys orders the dragon she had bartered for the men to burn Kraznys alive. She leaves with the entirety of her soldiers and all three of her dragons.

13. When she frees the unsullied soldiers

Khaleesi is a class act; instead of making the soldiers her slaves, she gives them the option to march with her willingly.

14. When she sacks the city of Astapor

After killing their ruler and acquiring the city's soldiers, Daenerys burns down the city.

15. When she threatens Yunkai slave trader, Razdal mo Eraz

Khaleesi journeys to Yunkai to free their slaves as well. She meets with the slave trader and demands that if they free all their slaves now, they will not suffer the same fate as Astapor.

16. When she says: "I did promise you, but my dragons made no promise and you just threatened their Mother. That's my Gold."

Khaleesi's dragons threaten Razdal when he tries to take back his gold. He reminds her that he was promised safe passage but she, in turn, reminds hims that her dragons made no such promise.

17. When she ordered her men to attack the city of Yunkai in the middle of the night

Obviously, not realizing who he is dealing with, Razdal and his men are overtaken by Khaleesi's army and she has once again brought down a vicious ruler.

18. When she freed the slaves of Yunkai

Nothing was more incredible than this touching scene of Daenerys freeing the Yunkai slaves; they form a giant circle around her and called her "mhysa," which means mother.
