JLo Opens Up About Her Relationship With Drake: ‘It Has Nothing To Do With Age'

On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez — or as I like to call her, the Benjamin Button of the entertainment industry — joined the set of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about quite a few things, including her rumored recent relationship with Drake.

Not wasting any time, DeGeneres asked Lopez if she spent Valentine's Day with Drake, to which the 47-year-old replied,

No, he's off on tour right now. We did a song together.

OK, you want to play it cool, JLo?

Obviously, DeGeneres didn't back down.

Referencing a picture of JLo and 30-year-old Drake locked in each other's arms, DeGeneres asked Lopez if she was writing a song with Drake when the picture was taken.

Without skipping a beat, the 47-year-old answered,

We were not writing a song right at that moment. We were just hanging out. Actually, he sent me a song that he wanted me to be on, and then I got on the song, and yeah, we have a song together.

JLo, are we really going to play this cat-and-mouse game? Let's start talking about your relationship with Drake, shall we?

Speaking about her proclivity to date "younger men," as you can hear in the video above, Lopez said,

First of all, stop! I don't date younger men. I don't think men have to be younger. It's not about that. I just meet people, and if I go out with them, I go out with them, And if I like them, I like them, and if I don't, I don't. It's about the person, you know what I mean? It's about who they are. It has nothing to do with age!

The "Ain't Your Mama" singer continued,

There's this thing because I dated Beau [Casper Smart], and he was younger, and he was the first guy I ever dated who was younger than me, but then I got labeled right away. For me, it isn't [about age]. If they're older, they're older. If they're younger, they're younger. It depends on whether or not I'm attracted to their spirit, their soul, their whatever... their energy.
