It looks like the magic of the pants might not be over — Blake Lively is saying there is a "strong chance" of a third "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movie.

But there is a catch. It might not be the same old "Sisterhood" you know and love.

After all, it has been eight years since the second movie of the series came out, and all the sisters are older and wiser now.

In an interview with Jess Cagle for Entertainment Weekly Radio, Blake said,

If you wait this long to do a third movie, it needs to honor the story and the legacy. What's neat about it is I was 16 when I did the first film and I played a 16-year-old, and now I'm 28 and I'd be playing a 28-year-old... or whatever age we end up making the movie, if we did.

In other words, "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3" isn't about to pretend that Tibby, Lena, Carmen and Bridget are just turning 19 as if no time has gone by.

Blake went on to say,

We would be making a movie trusting that our audience grew up with us. I think that would be really interesting to explore.

Yesss! I would be so ready to dive back into the world of the sisterhood, adult-style.

This movie would possibly be based on the fifth book from author Ann Brashares' "Sisterhood Everlasting." (Yes there IS a fifth book!)

The story takes place 10 years after the fourth book concludes, and I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but it's not all soccer and boys for the girls anymore. Shit gets real real.

Long live the sisterhood!
