Billie Lourd & Evan Peters' 'AHS:Cult' Characters Are Connected In This Creepy Way

Now that the first episode of American Horror Story: Cult has begun, we can officially confirm this season might just be the creepiest, darkest, most terrifying season in a long time. As promised, Cult opens on election night in Michigan, and, simply put, after Trump is elected, sh-t hits the fan and murdery clowns start banging in grocery stores. Of course, now that we're back in the AHS universe, there are plenty of twists, turns, and connections that demand explaining and one major question we have is: How are Billie Lourd and Evan Peters' American Horror Story: Cult characters connected?

Unlike past seasons of the show, the relationships on Season 7 are pretty cut and dry, except for Kai (Evan Peters) and Winter (Billie Lourd). From what we've seen of them so far, these two could be related, they could be dating, they could just be creepy roomies, or it could be a combination of all three; the only obvious connection between them is that they're in the same cult and they're both very likely sociopaths.

According to my extensive research (I looked on IMDb), though, it appears as if these two are brother and sister (or maybe married?). Both of their last names are "Anderson" and the first time we see them together is when Kai covers his face in Cheeto dust and walks into Winter's room to mock her after Trump wins the election, which suggests they live together. (Side note: If they are siblings, where the hell are their parents?? Letting them be all cult-y and s-it in the basement... get it together!)

Obviously there is still plenty of time left in the season to figure out the specific dynamic between Kai and Winnie; right now it seems like Kai is a cult leader and Winter is a follower, but we have no clue how that power dynamic came to be, and this is AHS and it's still early on in the season, so anything can happen. All I know for sure is these two need to be grounded ASAP, SMDH.
