The Met Gala can eat its heart out, because the most iconic night of fashion in 2023 was actually the Barbie premiere. On July 9, the stars of the movie and tons of other celebs stepped onto the pink carpet to celebrate the world’s most famous doll in show-stopping looks.

Of course, the living Barbie herself had to recreate one of the doll’s most memorable looks. In keeping with the theme of her press tour, Margot Robbie wore a classic Barbie look on the pink carpet, recreating the “Solo in the Spotlight” Barbie doll.
