For those of you who have never role played, get off of this site. The content is too mature for you. Go back to Zoog Disney.
Are you still here? Ugh, fine. Since your dirty, curious little mind is still here, I GUESS I'll clue you in.
Role playing is when you dress up and/or pretend to be someone else while getting into the mood for sex.
It's a fun way to spice up your relationship, except for when you and your partner are only pretending to be into each other. In which case, role playing won't help you rekindle the flame. Sorry.
If you're going to try some role play, start off simple. People usually try the patient and the doctor, the teacher and the student or the cop and bad guy, for starters.
If you try something too crazy your first time, you might be scarred for life, so be careful.
Take me, for example. I tried to play a dead person during role play once, and that just didn't work out. What can I say? Hindsight is 20/20.
If you're going to go all-out, make it a full-on date and go to the costume shop together. That way when you go to the store, you're at least sure to find the sexy version of the character you're trying to play.
Trying to find things around your house to make yourself look like a sexy, naughty teacher is going to end up making you look like you belong on "The Magic School Bus".
On the other hand, you don't necessarily need costumes to role play.
If you're like me and didn't grow up rich, I'm sure you're used to using your imagination. You're going to end up naked anyway, so maybe foregoing the costume isn't such a bad idea.
Let's just say, when I try role playing, I am very committed. I stay COMPLETELY in character throughout the entire night, throughout the next day and, really, until the other person can't stand me anymore and realizes I am actually insane and have been living a double life for years.
GEN WHY is back for season seven to remind you that if you need to dress up like a firefighter to spice up your relationship, it has already lost its heat.
