Ladies, it turns out being a daddy issue-ridden, reckless spending, hopeless romantic is a major turn-off to men.

Yeah, after reading this Reddit thread about guys' relationship deal breakers, I'm starting to realize more and more why the hell I'm still single: I fit the bill for almost all of them. Oops.

Breakups suck. There's no doubt about it. But they teach us things we take into our new relationships.

For the most part, those lessons are positive and keep us from making mistakes that hurt us in the past. On the other hand, an ex's shortcomings can ruin a new relationship because you're forced to throw up major new walls.
