11 Problems You Only Have In A Relationship When You Date A Nice Guy

by Alexa Mellardo

When it comes to being satisfied with guys and relationships, many women find them problematic in one way or another.

Until you seek out the perfect guy, you're faced with dudes who don't want to commit, jerks who play with your heartstrings, then ghost you… and who could forget to mention the stage five clingers who won't take a hint.

Many women are attracted to the player, and they can't seem to shake their addiction.

You know the guy who I'm talking about: He's irresistible AF and has enough charm to fill up an entire freaking bracelet.

The player ends up breaking your heart because he's not satisfied playing just one game; the ass has to play two, or maybe even 10 at a time.

After you've had a string of broken relationships with players, you meet the “nice guy.”

He takes you out on real dates and treats you incredible.

When you talk, he LISTENS to what you have to say, and actually cares about what's going on in your life.

The nice guy seems so refreshing when compared to the player. He would never think about hurting you, or talking to a dozen other chicks at the same time because he's, well, “nice.”

But why do we feel as though we're settling when we're dating the nice guy? The dating game is so freaking stressful!

These are the 11 problems you only have in a relationship when you date a nice guy.

1. He's not nearly as confident.

It cramps your outgoing, free-spirited vibes.

2. He's charming, but he's not a charmer.

He can be awkward at times, but at least he tried?

3. He's NOT the leader of the pack, nor would he want to be.

While being a leader is how YOU roll.

4. He fears taking risks.

He remains in his comfort zone and rarely steps outside it. Needless to say, paragliding and shredding up the ATV trails are off the table.

5. He's sweet, but he's not the life of the party.

When you're at the bar with the squad, he doesn't even make the effort to have fun because it's not his scene.

6. He can be indecisive.

He always makes you decide, and you're OK with that. But sometimes, it would be nice for him to take the reigns and surprise you.

7. He's a planner.

He doesn't live life on the edge. It can be super confining if you're one who lives for adventure.

8. He has rules.

He rarely likes to break them and live a little.

9. He sleeps to re-charge.

While you sleep to dream.

10. His timing can use some tweaks.

He's not about bringing spontaneity to the relationship.

11. He works his ass off and is very career-oriented.

Sometimes it consumes him, and he leaves no room for fun.

You should never, ever settle for someone simply because he's dubbed a "nice guy." That being said, nobody is perfect, either.

A player plays a good game, but it's usually an unfair one, and you will always lose. A nice guy will be genuine, but he may be lacking in the spontaneity department.

The struggle of finding your soulmate is so real, ladies. Good luck finding that balance!
