Can Your Office Relationship Work Out After All?

We’ve all been warned before: do not mix business with pleasure. Dating in the office has been discouraged by HR and by your peers multiple times, so there must be some kind of reason for it, don’t you think?

Office relationships can lead to office gossip, or a office breakup, which means having to see your ex everyday… in the office. How horrible, who’d want that? Well, apparently, it works out more than you would think.

A recent survey recently found that 40 percent of workers polled admitted to dating someone from the office at least once. 30 percent of those in office romances ended up getting married to their coworker.

Who would’ve thought that an office relationship would bear such a high success rate? Have you ever been in a successful office relationship?
