The Ideal Age Gap Between Couples

My boyfriend is a few years older than I am, and we’ve both received comments from multiple people saying that the age gap is too large. I’ve never thought so, and I never thought that it matters.

As long as you’re both in a good place in your life, and mentally, at the same point, age shouldn’t matter. It turns out though, that the majority of our country believes that a romantic relationship is ideal when it’s between an older man and a younger woman.

Actually, a survey of 2,000 adults revealed that the average “ideal” age gap is four years and four months. That puts my boyfriend and I under that age gap, so HA to anyone who’s hated in the past.

Why do woman prefer an older man? 55% of women said that financial stability was one of the biggest reasons women cited preferring older men.
