Falling in love is easy, but staying in love? Well, that's the hard part.
We're brought up to think that men are overly simple and women are overly complicated, especially when it comes to matters of love.
But I would like to make the argument that that's just a bunch of BS.
I think we're all complicated, especially in heterosexual relationships when it comes to having someone trying to figure out what we say versus what we actually mean. But sometimes, what makes someone love you isn't as complicated as we make it.
A recent Reddit thread asked guys what their girlfriends do that make their "hearts flutter."
Their answers are pretty surprisingly detailed. So read along, take note, and start showering your boyfriend with some sweet, sweet loving to keep him getting flustered over you.
Greet him with a hug.
Cross and uncross your legs a lot.
Give him a look.
Have his back.
Crack him up.
Ditch your phone next time you hang with him.
Make him feel manly.
Make him feel appreciated.
Do little things to show you like hanging with him.
Go out of your way to do something to make him happy.
Obviously, every relationship is different, and every man is different.
What works for your man might not be the same as these random dudes on Reddit.
The best advice I can give? Just keep doing you. That's who he fell in love with in the first place, right?
