This Girl Went On A First Date With A Drug Dealer Who Gave Her Valium To 'Relax'

by Candice Jalili

This week we have Jen* who accidentally ended up on a first date with a drug dealer:

Backstory:

I agreed to meet up with a guy I had just met online for drinks. He told me he was a homebody and that I was his first internet date. It was such an honor to take his online dating virginity from him!

8 pm: The date starts off at a bar.

He was able to hold a conversation with me, which is a rarity where I'm from. The whole time we were sitting there, he kept fidgeting with his hat and running a hand through his hair. And he did tell me he needed a haircut and rarely wore hats.

9 pm: We go to the parking lot to check out his new Cadillac.

He had just bought a car and wanted to show it to me, so we walked out to the parking lot. It was a blacked-out Cadillac SUV. I got in so he could show it off, and he started to brag about how his car was made to blend in, so people wouldn't notice it.
He started to brag about how his car was made to blend in, so people wouldn't notice it.
I agreed to let him drive me around town, and as soon as he put his car in gear, he flat-out asked me what kind of drugs I did. I told him I don't do drugs, but he proceeded to pull out a joint and smoke it.
As we were driving around, he was still fidgeting with everything. Then, I noticed a bottle of pills in his console. He told me they were Valiums, and then, he gave me one and told me to take it and that it would help me relax.
He told me they were Valiums, and then he gave me one and told me to take it.
He then told me he sells those to his buddies.

10 pm: I start figuring out what's going on.

It all started to click. This guy is a drug dealer. I asked him what other drugs he had in his car. At this point, it was obvious things were not going to work out.

11 pm: I freak out.

I texted my friend and told her where I was because, at this point, I was scared.

While he was driving me back to my car, he started pestering me about what went wrong, and I told him it was because he was a drug dealer, which he denied. He was a homebody, he drove a blacked-out Cadillac SUV, he was constantly fidgeting, he asked me what kind of drugs I did and he admitted that he sells Valium.

So... yeah. I'd have to agree with Jen that she definitely went on a date with a drug dealer.

At the end of the day, I'm just glad she ended up OK and, just as importantly, with a great story she's willing to share.

What do you guys think of all this? Do you think there's a chance he wasn't actually a drug dealer and was really just an average dude smoking joints in his blacked-out Cadillac and casually selling Valium to his friends? Have you ever been through a situation like this?

Whatever your thoughts are, I want to hear them! Feel free to comment below.
