When most people think of billionaire heiresses they think of women like Paris Hilton and assume that they are incapable of doing anything else but spending money. Delphine Arnault disproves that stereotype by being an educated director at a major company.

Daughter of Bernard Arnault, Chairman and C.E.O. of LVMH Moet Hennessy – Louis Vuitton S.A. the French multinational apparels and accessories company, Arnault was raised amongst business and luxury.

Educated at the London School of Economics, Arnault prepared to have a prestigious business profession. Before joining her father’s company, Arnault worked for McKinsey & Company, which prepped her for the LVMH.

At the age of 28 Arnault was appointed to the board of directors at LVMH, where she was the only woman to reach the position of director. In 2002 Arnault was the second biggest individual stockholder at LVMH, controlling 7.5% of stocks. In 2010 her reported net worth was approximately equal to $3.9 billion.
