A few weeks ago, we announced that Nicole Ghesquiere would depart from Balenciaga, leaving behind his position as creative director. As he officially exits the fashion house today, a successor to the position is needed.
Enter: Alexander Wang. It has just been confirmed that the New York based designer will take control of Balenciaga as the French label’s newest creative director. What will this mean for Balenciaga? Or for Wang’s own label?
