These '2D' Bags Look Like They're From Cartoons, But They're Very Real (Photos)

by Liz Rowley

This is not your typical line of designer bags. One look will leave you both intrigued and a little confused.

What initially appears to be a Photoshopped optical illusion is, in fact, a very real and imaginative design.

The bags are designed by Rika Lin and Chay Su and the UK-based company, Jump From Paper, conceived the concept. The bags sport bold black lines and angles that work to create an animated, 2D effect.

The product is sunning, and the design is fit for anyone with whimsical, illustrative sensibilities. The bags are now sold in over 25 countries, and the line offers handbags, shoulder bags, cross body bags, purses and laptop cases.

The smaller purses cost a manageable $40, but the larger bags run closer to $200.

Anyone looking to turn heads on his or her next strut down the street would be well advised to buy one online. Yes, you read right -- Jump From Paper manufactures man bags, too.

The "man purse" has never looked so fresh.
