The leather works label Coach has recently been going through a major (and much needed) revamp of their age-old company. To me, Coach lost it’s credibility the second that myself and all of my friends got the same Coach purse for Christmas in sixth grade (you know which one I’m talking about).
The label has since seemed outdated and tacky, to put it lightly, and their re-design of their ‘C’ logo did absolutely nothing for the company. Lately, they’ve been incorporating clothing items and have made some favorable changes to their line of leather goods, if I do say so myself.
Their latest collaboration is one that I would actually shop from (finally!) and I’m absolutely positive that any preppy female will feel the same way. Saint James, known for their incredibly nautical Breton stripes, has paired up with Coach to create a collection of summery “nautical meets New York” pieces.
The collaboration has just launched, and features a range of canvas bags, accessories, and classic basic clothing pieces such as a drawstring top, a sleeveless maxi dress and a bikini.
Trust me, I’m just as surprised as you. Prices for this collection range from $88 to $398, so purchases should not be made lightly. The amazing thing about a nautical aesthetic, however, is that it never goes out of style.
If purchased, these pieces will stay in your closet forever.
