Rebecca Minkoff To Join Real Housewives Of NYC Cast

Today’s most surprising news story goes as follows: designer Rebecca Minkoff will be joining the cast of Bravo’s "The Real Housewives of New York City."

Housewife positions are usually reserved for women who are solely, well, housewives. Minkoff will be joining current cast members Sonja, Ramona, Countess LuAnn, Heather, Carole and Aviva in the show’s sixth season.

Are you as surprised as I am that a major New York fashion designer will be portrayed on a show such as "The Real Housewives"? I know this is bound to boost Bravo's ratings amongst the fashion set.
