Flashing Lights: Kanye And Adidas Are Collaborating At Fashion Week

If the rumors are true, it looks like Kanye is going to bring his much-buzzed-about Adidas collaboration to New York Fashion Week in just a few days.

Historically, Kanye's had a pretty tumultuous relationship with the fashion industry, and he most certainly "voiced" those "opinions" on several occasions.

Mostly, Kanye was offended by industry elite snubbing him due to his celebrity.

We'd like to remind Yeezy of Mary-Kate and Ashley's successful fashion ventures (yep, plural), but whatever.

Kanye's been quoted voicing his excitement about this up-and-coming collaboration with Adidas, pointedly adding the brand gave him much-needed creative license.

In 2011, when Kanye debuted his breakout eponymous line, Dw Kanye West, it was a total trainwreck.

And all his hype about it just made the gigantic Fail (yes, with a Capital F) all the more embarrassing.

Will he flounder or flourish with Adidas? I guess we'll see what happens on the runway.
