Weekend Outfits: November 9th

Happy Weekend everyone! I wish I could tell you that I had some fabulously exciting plans for this weekend, but alas, I do not. This doesn’t bother me, sometimes I feel as if the calm and event-less weekends are the best kind of weekends.

So since I won’t be going out and doing much, I’ll most likely stay in my usual preppy meets business casual style of outfits. Today I’m wearing an outfit similar to the daytime option, a blush top with the fall favorite tweed in various shades of brown. The texture and look of this skirt just make me feel winter-y and cozy, especially when worn with brown tights and booties.

I guess I underestimated the excitement for this weekend, seeing as we’ll be out celebrating a birthday dinner for my lovely mother (Happy Birthday Mommy!). I’m planning on wearing a pair of black, wide-legged trousers I inherited from her closet (no where better to vintage shop than in your mother’s closet) with a simple tank and blazer.
