Spotlight: The Smoking Slipper

Shoes are often times the most important article in your ensemble, so it’s always exciting when a different style of shoe comes into fashion.  This fall menswear and androgyny lives on, and the smoking slipper is a way to fit into that trend, especially if you’re sick of the usual plain flats or oxfords.

Smoking slippers do remind me a bit of Hugh Hefner, but I love how they are a cross between a flat and a loafer. Smoking slippers look good in any print or style and are even appropriate in heel version.
