Splurge vs. Save: Tweed Coat

This morning I was cold on my walk into the office. I hadn’t felt cold in the morning in what seems like forever so this can only mean that fall is right around the corner.  I’m overjoyed for the weather to change; my summer staples have begun to bore me.

I prefer the colder months for many reasons, and of course fashion plays a huge factor. I love layers and coats even more so. A classic coat not only keeps you warm, but pulls your winter wardrobe together.

This week’s splurge vs. save is going to be inspired by my favorite fall/winter article: Coats. Not only is tweed a classic fabric, it’s a huge trend for fall. So why not invest in a tweed coat?

I don’t care how wealthy you are, every woman loves a sale. This Classiques Entier ‘Lippo’ Tweed Topper is similar to the Nanette Lepore with the cut of the coat, the piping and the tweed. This coat is currently on sale at Nordstrom for $163.00, an amazing deal.
